Welcome to our website! By using this site, signing up, donating, sponsoring, or participating in any of our programs, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. EQUIP is a youth sports and intellectual pursuit sponsorship platform that connects sponsors, families, and young athletes to help cover sports-related costs such as registration fees, equipment, travel, and training.
2. Who Can Use This Website: This website is intended for parents or legal guardians of youth athletes, approved sponsors and donors, coaches, teams, teachers and partner organizations. Anyone under 18 must use this site with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts and Information: When creating an account or submitting information, you agree that all information provided is accurate and truthful. You will keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that provide false information or misuse of the platform.
4. Sponsorship and Donations: For Sponsors/Donors, donations and sponsorship are voluntary. Funds may be used for youth sports expenses as described on the site. We do our best to ensure funds are used appropriately, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes like team performance or scholarships. For Families/Athletes, sponsorship funds must be used only for approved sports or intellectual pursuit-related expenses. You may be asked to provide proof of how funds are used. Misuse of funds may result in removal from the program
5. No Guarantees: We work hard to support young athletes, but we do not guarantee that any athlete will receive sponsorship, a specific amount of funding, athletic success, team placement, or scholarships.
6. Code of Conduct: All users agree to treat others with respect, avoid bullying, harassment, or discrimination, and refrain from posting false, harmful, or inappropriate content. We can remove content or accounts that violate these rules.
7. Photos, Videos, and Stories: With parent/guardian permission, we may share athlete stories, photos, or videos for sponsor updates, social media and/or website promotion. If you want content removed, contact us at equipyouthdreams@gmail.com.
8. Payments and Fees: Payments are processed through secure third-party providers. We are not responsible for errors caused by payment processors. As of this update, we use Givebutter for donations.
9. Safety and Responsibility: Participation in sports involves physical activity and risk. By using this platform, individuals and families accept responsibility for their child’s participation in sports and intellectual pursuits. We are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or losses that occur during these or any other sports activities.
10. Intellectual Property: All content on this site — logos, text, graphics, and design — belongs to EQUIP unless otherwise stated. You may not copy or reuse it without permission.
11. Third-Party Links: Our website may link to other sites, like payment processors or sports organizations. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
12. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent allowed by law, EQUIP is not liable for loss of data, financial loss, indirect or unexpected damages. Your use of this website is at your own risk.
